I am a big fan of Vicente Fernandez bothan actorwellhis singing. I probably have watched all his movies and La ley del MontewellEl Arracadas might be the best ones. La ley del Monte is a compilation of feelings and you can almost feel the character's suffering. It beginsa love story set in the Mexican Revolution years and it endssomething comparable to the best Novela (Mexican soap). Every time I watch it, which is often, I get the chills at the end when Vicente shows up in the middle of the party and the Mariachis start playing the song "La Ley Del Monte". This scene is intense and you can see the love in his eyeshe's crying while singing to his beloved. He then goes to fight after saying goodbye to his mentor who is also the town's priest, and he goes off to fight only to have a spectacular and breath taking death in a short yet amusing battle against the soldiers.<br/><br/>Worth watching.
